CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPLY OF GOODS

PROCESSING OF ORDERS 
All shopping cart transactions are carried out securely using Paypal. During this process we never see your credit card details and we cannot access your credit card details from Paypal. When you place an order with us, you input your details at the PayPal site as part of the transaction process. PayPal does not share, lend, sell or otherwise make available your email address or personal details with any other company or organisation unless requested by a government organisation in response to legal/fraudulent matters. Midnight Media aims to ship all items as soon as possible following receipt of your processed order. Please allow up to 28 days for delivery – however, goods are normally shipped much quicker than this. If the office is closed for holidays a notice will be displayed on our home page informing customers of this fact. Your order may be delayed if an item is not in stock. Some items may be unavailable. We regret we are not able to supply dates when our suppliers may get an item in stock. We will keep you updated of any back ordered items. Please note that your order may be sent to you in instalments. At this moment in time we only post to to the UK. Our standard Returns Policy applies to all purchases from Midnight Media.

PAYPAL SECURITY
PayPal operates secure servers that use the highest level of internet security commercially available (Secure Socket Layer with an encryption key length of 128-bits). Once your information reaches PayPal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PAYPAL - WHAT IS IT?
All transactions on our site are conducted through a third party credit card processing company called PayPal. Paypal is a respectable, trusted and established company that provides secure methods of making payments across the Internet. Transactions using Secure Socket Layer are encrypted - that means that anyone trying to intercept this encrypted information is presented with a series of letters and numbers that make no sense and have no bearing on your credit card details. As a customer, you do not have to register your details with PayPal before purchasing items from us. The amount for the items (including postage) are debited from your Credit Card by PayPal who then deposits the funds into our bank account. Because we use PayPal, we do not receive your credit card or bank account details. All we receive is details of the items you have purchased and your delivery address.

Shipping is included in all our pricing and we ship with Royal Mail and couriers.

LOST MAIL
Occasionally items go astray during delivery to customers. We will of course send out replacement items if it becomes clear that items have been lost en route to a customer. However, we have found that more often than not, rather than being lost, items that do not arrive in a reasonable time are delayed in the mail, and do eventually arrive. Therefore we do not consider an item to be lost in the mail until the following time periods have elapsed: UK 4 weeks.

In the unlikely event that you receive goods which were not what you ordered or which are damaged or defective, or are of a different quantity to that stated on your order form, Midnight Media shall, at its own option, make good any shortage or non-delivery, replace or repair any damaged or defective goods, or refund you the amount you paid for the goods in question PROVIDED THAT you notify Midnight Media of the problem in writing to info@midnight-media.net within 7 days of delivery of the goods, and PROVIDED THAT, if the problem is in respect of defective Blu-rays and DVDs you return the goods for our inspection prior to their replacement, as any claims for defective Blu-rays/DVDs must be ratified by Midnight Media before such goods are replaced or the amount you paid for the goods in question is refunded. Customers have the right to cancel the contract without penalty for up to seven days starting on the first day after receipt of goods. Blu-rays and DVDs that are supplied in sealed packaging do not need to be accepted back within this time frame unless their packaging is intact. Although Midnight Media uses PayPal to process Credit Card transactions online at the highest level of commercially available encryption, any losses incurred or sustained by users who transmit information by means of email or other internet link shall be borne solely and exclusively by such user and in no event shall any such losses in whole or part by borne by Midnight Media.
